putting the past of both presidents out of view, which candidate do you think would better serve the country for the next 4 years...that means forget the whole war thing, and the whole flip flop thing...based solely on the plans they have laid out...which president is most able to do our country, and world justice. note, things like bush's ( Read more... )

You can't evaluate what they're promising unless you look at their respective pasts.

I think he's saying that assuming what they're promising is true, follow their plan and evaluate their approach to managing the country... And while we're in make-believe-land where politicians tell the truth and keep promises, we can also dream about having an election with respectable candidates. =P

well first off, i think bush is the one that gets bashed the most...always has been as ive seen it, but maybe we both just sympathize more for the guy we are routing for? a couple years ago there was a HUGE political crisis where people were essentially selling the US placebos with brand names on them from other countries. several a chronice diseases killed many people because of it. these were majorly in india and europe where they were being traced to, but about half of them were traced to have gone through canadian middle men companies, i hardly see holding off that connection TILL we know its safe and secure, or as close as possible to reopen that market. yeah, its true, hes only letting like 2 HUGE companies import drugs right now, but its not because he wants to help out the big companies like everyone says, its because they make and distribute their drugs directly and theres no way for crazy asians and europeans to make placebos to get a cheap buck. note...i saw all this on chronicle about a year ago. the whole lieing ( ... )

Honestly Jon you can't help but listen to what the media says about Bush and Kerry...they are both two strong political leaders...which they both are by the way....each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Its a matter of who has the best plan to best suit our country...Straight up I dont trust Bush...and yeah I guess you can say some of it is based on the media but I did some research the other day on these two canidates...and I still think Kerry has a suitable plan to improve our country. I dont feel safe with Bush being our president anymore...why because I always feel like I have to be at the tip of my toes every day wondering am I safe? I give Bush credit on how he handled 9/11...honestly no matter who else it could have been in his shoes that day...your going to be making some of the most difficult decisions that anyone could possibly make...your bound to make errors under such pressure...I think Yes Bush did what was nessecery at first but I think now some of the old decisions that he made are no longer appropriate. A ? ( ... )

yeah, you cant help but hear it, but you can help whether or not you buy it right off. or even let it sink in. its like when your parents are yelling at you, when you just ignore them and dont talk to them...you hear them...you know they are talking to you, but you dont give a shit. it cant be argued that the media doesnt own the elections, because they do. the masses are easily swayed...first thing you learn in mass communications. k, you dont trust bush...why? what did bush himself, or his administration do that was lying, mind you not tellign the truth isnt always lying. he didnt know better, nro did anyone in the house of reps...so how is he a liar? and if you cant categorize him as a liar there, why dont you trust bush. what has he done to retract as simple and feeble a thing as trust. haha, k...you dont feel safe with bush as president because you dont know when anything could happen...no president in the world could change that without collosal damage being done to the bill of rights. what exactly do you suggest he ( ... )

Jon the answer your looking for wont ever be reached...it retorical...and will remain that way. Dont laugh at me when I say I don't feel safe with Bush being our president...many people feel the same way I do...I dont trust him and if you dont get why from what I said then ohh well thats to bad...I had other people read that same thing I wrote and even though their oppinons either differed or were the same they got it...Politics will always be something that nobody will ever agree on...to many different topics...to many different oppinions...all of which are aimed to improve our country...who ever is elected has the mass mojority of our population agreeing with their plans to do so.

if the answer im looking for cant be reached by you guys...if its thought to be impossible, im surrounded by idiots. i dont think thats the case, so read it and think about it. ived decided to humor myself by responding to this, i see many an opinion..and few facts...i dont say that to be offensive...read my prior entry (i said id only respond to factual responses and nothing subject to opinion) first off...look up the defintion of rhetorical, cuz the only possible way that word makes sense they way you used it sounds rediculous. actually, despite your thought, inevitably...the next person elected is the person who the media likes more. because people are surronded by it every single day (less they live under a rock). if you listen to the radio...watch tv, walk through the city...there will be media everywhere. the radio stations have already made your vote for you. that also isnt argueable, because you havent met or worked with either candidate, and i VERY highly doubt you got your information from the gvt (its where the media ( ... )
