haha, first off i have to say i respect considerably that you do your own research for these things cuz everyone else (myself guilty till very recently) listen to the presidents and read the papers for our info. as to your point about bush being the liar in the bunch...dude...they are politicians...largely lawyers. DUH ;) "i did not have sexual relations with monica lewinsky" or that woman...whatever he said. every presidents lies. not all are caught, and maybe those "lies" were the lesser of two evils at the time, AND no one has answered me this yet...and it irks me...is it still lying if you didnt know that you werent telling the truth.

1) if its going to help our soldiers, its goin to help our soldiers, kerry doesnt have the military tactical knowledge that powell does and im a lil more than certain that powell was involved in planning where the money would go. so kerry wouldnt try to help save lives essentially cuz he wouldnt like who was doing it? sounds like a poor reason to me. see, for the star wars thing, i think we should have it because even if we are at war with someone else, it acts as a defense for us. im not a fan of wars eye for an eye especially when my life is endangered. i think kerry would only increase the deficit...i dont rememember where, but i read some statistic saying that even if he did tax the top bracket, if these people being taxed started giving to charities for the tax break which is more likely in that situation, i dont remember all the crazy numbers...way too many of them, but IF that happened, kerry still wouldnt have broken the deficit till 4 and a half years...ironically just after the next election.

when it comes to the civil matters, such as the abortion and gay rights..if thats all that was on the table, id definately be voting for kerry...hands down, regretfully enough...theres way too much on the political table. eh...pardon the french but fuck religion in politics, obviously its a part of the politicians life if its what they grew up with it, whether we like it or not, but (though i dont remember the case number) the supreme court ruled that religion and gvt. are separate issues, so churches can bitch at bush and kerry and i sneer at them for it.
