“Suburban Moms who are Addicted to Crack”
RANT OF THE WEEK
So I came to the realization that I am 19 going on 52. The other day I decided to watch some TV, my favorite ex-past time. However, the most dreaded worlds came out of my mouth. I actually said, “There is nothing but pure crap on TV.” I being a teenage would have never thought that I would utter those fearful words. Anyway, while I was flipping through cannels I was really appalled by all the crap that is on TV now. I flipped through 2 reality TV shows in which people were getting vanity plastic surgery. Both shows “I Want a Famous Face” and “The Swan” really bothered me. The premise of both shows is so morally degrading to society. The idea that looks have become such a priority that people will spend thousands of dollars so they can look like Pamela Anderson is gross. (nothing against Pam, but come on?!) It makes me sad that people are more eager to spend 25,000 dollars to fix their fanny instead of embrace their backside. (when I say embrace I don’t mean grab either). Well back to my rant about the crap that is on TV. I knew it had gotten bad when Oprah had a special on “Suburban moms who are addicted to drugs”. I just don’t know what to do when the Oprah Winfrey show has hit an all time low. If anyone one knows of any good television programs on……..tell me. (And NO I do not want to watch the Bachelor or the Apprentice, no offense). well it is Firday……so I AM GOING OUT!!!!!!
