love is an inkless pen, it's a tavern, it's sin, it's a horrible way to begin

margot = super crazy awesome!  they definitely have a grittier quality live, but it was also definitely a good thing...i can't wait to see them again.  hopefully paige will put her pictures up soon so that i can steal them *hint hint*.

after the show was over, and we had bought our tshirts (and i had also bought my limited edition vinyl...#275 out of 1000, with acoustic versions of "broadripple is burning" and "holy cow"...now i just need something to play it on...), we wandered into starbucks (the second time in less than 3 hours for me).

as we were sitting there drinking our coffee, we saw richard (the lead singer) walk over and sit down outside the window.  we sat there some more, contemplating whether or not we should be those jerks that go out and bother him for a picture...when we finally decided that, yes, we'd be those jerks, he got up and walked away!  we semi-stalked him for a little while by walking in the same direction, but i'm thinking he went into a bar or something because we never did find him.  we eventually just gave up.  sadface.

the person i really wanted a picture with, though, was casey.  he plays multiple things, including the timpani, cymbals, two tambourines, and various shaker-y things.  and man, did he ever work those tambourines.  he would pinwheel them around in the air, and at one point he shook one of them so hard that some of the little silver things actually just flew off.  it has become a main life-goal of mine to meet and get a picture with him.  here are some horrible cameraphone pictures that i took (because my real camera is broken, yet again):

ok, well nevermind, they aren't uploading.  i'll try again tomorrow when my phone isn't being a butt.
