Insanely Fun!

On Saturday attack_laurel  and I braved the Metro and downtown to attend the Rally to Restore Sanity (and/or Fear). We decided in advance to go as Suffragettes, and tailored our outfits and signs accordingly. Laura wore her steampunk outfit from CostumeCon 27 and made us sashes to make us look more like a team. I don't think it technically counts towards stash reduction, but I have found a use for linen scraps. I've turned to diving in my sewing room trash can for long thin scraps to tie up the tomatoes.

My first stash busting attempt was to let my Mom shop in my stash while she was here. So 1.375 yards of red linen was donated to her toothbrush rug she started on the last day here. I even measured it out and tore it up for her use. StashBust01-Toothbrush rug.
