An Experiment in Making Money
OK... so I"m a pack rat. I know this. I've always known it and everyone who knows me knows it. My closet and shelves are always overflowing with.... stuff. I really need to learn where to draw the line. But recently, my closet has actually gotten so disorganized that I can't even shut the door all the way. One of the main reason is that I bought a bunch of stuff that I thought "hey! I can sell this and make money ^_^" But... months later, I haven't touched.
So My goal is to at least get some of it listed on ebay. Japan doesn't really do the whole garage sale/flea market thing. Otherwise, I may sell it that way. Most of what I have though is anime and pokemon goods. I was looking at some of the stuff that's listed already... and it doesn't seem to be selling. Personally I think that's because it's listed a bit high. One of the plushies was listed for about $60 bucks. Granted these things were from a lotto at 7-11 and, if I really wanted to, I could count them all and see how much I spent. But.... that would hurt haha. So I think that because this is my first time, I'm not really gonna worry about it. I believe I only have to pay ebay if it sells... or like 25 cents to list. I dunno.
I guess the main point that has been holding me back is paypal. My main account (and how I'd like to get paid) is in dollars and is an american account. I dunno if ebay will let me have a shipping address that is in a different country from where the account is located. Also, I don't know how to calculate shipping. We'll see.
I just can't get the energy to do it. I just took pics of everything and I could seriously start listing it. but... eh. I don't wannaaaaaa. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. I'll have to write about my experience with selling. I've only ever purchased. We'll see how well I do ^_^
