Rebranding is frustrating. We have a logo that we're happy with, but we're trying to pick a background color for our business cards, signs, and labels. Kris convinced me that these don't all have to be the same color, but now we're going back and forth between a grey and a purple, and Kris is done helping me decide so I don't know. And every time that I have to have the graphic design person working on it that I need to see it a different way, it's costing me more money. So I just want to figure it out. But it's a big deal to me, because I want it to be perfect and I don't want to want to change anything once I get the new cards, new signs, new labels. So yeah, might seem like a minor thing, but it's frustrating.
We finally organized most of the basement. There's still some stuff down there that needs to be moved to the garage, and a few other things that need to be moved somewhere, but it's basically done. When it gets warmer, we really have to organize the garage.
We adopted a new dog about a week ago. Her name is Greta. It was a trial adoption, but I think she's already part of our family. She does a couple pain in the ass things that Lucy doesn't do (chews things up, plays in the mud, etc), but she's also really sweet. She's really fearful of men, but she's warmed up to Kris quite a bit now. She follows Zoë around and sleeps in her bed every night. Lucy and her are starting to warm up to one another I think. They don't cuddle together yet or anything, but the other day they were playing together for a while and that was cute. Lucy is jealous though and is quick to remind everyone that she's #1. If I ever call Greta, Lucy runs over and gets in my lap first haha. But she still gets tons of attention, so I think she'll get used to it eventually. And it helps that Greta likes to sleep with Zoë so that Lucy just gets to sleep in our bed.
Madeleine's 6th birthday was on Saturday. So weird thinking that I have a 6 year old. Doesn't really seem possible. The 2 parties that we had went well, and she liked all her presents a lot.
I thought I might have a longer update than this, but I'm having a difficult time focusing. I think it's time for bed.
