Well, Kris' last day of work ended up being yesterday. They were mad about him using his PTO, so they said "We're going to have this be your last day". He called HR this morning to see if he'd be paid for his PTO and to see if this is going down like they terminated him (then he could get unemployment for a few days). They said that he won't be paid for his PTO since they let him go early and that since he technically resigned, they didn't terminate him, so he can't get unemployment either. Those sneaky bastards. He's been there for almost 7 years and they just fuck him over without a care. Fuck that place, seriously. He's always hated it, but now I really hate it too. Fuck it. But whatever, everything happens for a reason, and now he gets to start his new job sooner. His new boss was excited when Kris told him he could start a week early. On to bigger & better things.
