I'm too tired to do anything else.

Today started off bad with a student calling off her lesson. It came as a pretty last minute thing and it did kinda upset me. She's a personal friend of mine and I'm coaching her as a sort of favor. I know I'm paid for it but it's more of like I really want to help her achieve better grades. I'm already trying my best to give her as sufficient and appropriate amount of work as she is coping both work, other subjects and has my lessons on a weekly basis. However, time and time again, she didn't complete her work. It's somewhat upsetting cos' if she were to be able to handle the workload, she could have mentioned so when I asked. She told me that everything was fine but time and time again, she didn't complete her work. How are we to progress from here I wonder.

Anyway, I went ahead with the lesson with Owen this afternoon. It's seemingly better as we laugh and play but yet get work done. Learning should be fun I reckon. I then met mummy at Bishan for some shopping.

We had Lunch/Dinner at the food court above the bus interchange. The food was somewhat costly, even though it's supposed to be cheaper cos' it wasn't an air conditioned food place. It was pretty deserted too. I suppose people would rather pay a wee bit more to dine in the comfort of dining places in Junction8 itself given the fact that the food at this certain food court wasn't economical anyway.

We did some shopping and got a mozzie zapper from Best Denki. The staff were total clueless and questions I asked this certain guy regarding the product were all thrown back to us. He still had the cheek to claim commission for the product even though it was another guy who attended to us first. This was one of the worse shopping experiences at Best Denki.

Anyway, we did some shopping and failed to catch a movie as we were too tired. The shows weren't exactly to our fancy either.

I'm worn out, and I've no idea why. I've been sleeping, probably just a lil' messy in terms of my sleeping habits. I'm been hooked to another book by Dorothy Koomson. She's just great at speaking of emotions people don't really realize and come to terms with on a daily basis. I'm almost through the book I got just last night. I just can't wait to complete it and hit the 2 other books she's got.

sleepy afternoons, reading, books, service horrors, gastronomic cravings
