It was Dad's pre-birthday Dinner Celebration on the 10th, we headed to Marina Barage after my High-tea with the 2 darlings. It was my virgin trip to Marina Barage, and well, it wasn't amazingly beautiful, but peaceful nonetheless.
Daddy opted for Marina Barage to have a family dinner at the 7th Storey Steamboat Restaurant. They somewhat specialise in Charcoal Steamboat, which isn't very common nowadays.
Dinner was pretty good, except for the fact that the waitresses were pretty clueless at times.
The food was delicious, but no doubt, costly.
I liked the prawns which were really sweet, as well as the Steamed Chicken.
It was really sweet of Gilbert to have gotten a tasty DURIAN cake from Angie the Choice.
It made Dad one happy boy!
The cake ceremony was a wee bit hilarious as mummy tried to play a prank on daddy, by 'grabbing' his good luck while he made his birthday wish. (He sensed it!)
Mummy was being very cheeky!
Dad sensed it and turned to mum in the midst of his wish asking 'Eh, what are you doing?"
When he returned to his 'wish', mummy became cheeky again! It was pretty hilarious in its' way.
The cake was delicious, and had GENUINE durian flesh inside! We then took a stroll around the barage.
It was a pity that the haze was still pretty bad back then, the skies weren't too pretty I suppose.
It was a pretty night, except for some undesirable thoughts that appeared.
It's the seventh family birthday of the year, leaving Mavis' and mine in October.
There are so many birthday parties lately that I'm wondering if I ought to do one for my 21st too.
There's just too much to think of, really.
