(no subject)
So I've been sick for Easter break. It's not terrible, just a head cold. But all I've felt like doing was watching movies. I went to the Hookah Bar last night. BIG MISTAKE! I felt so awful. I seriously need to just rest for the next few days, which is advantageous since Nick and I said that we wouldn't be spending any more money after this break for awhile. I need to make a budget and stick to it. How long have I been saying that now? Anyway, the movies I saw are as follows:
The Departed - fucking fantastic film...SEE IT...NOW!
Blades of Glory - so-so, not as good as Anchorman, more of a rental
Grindhouse - During Rodriguez's turn, I was gripped to my seat. For Tarantino, I was rolling in laughter. Perfect satirizing of the old grindhouse flicks. The "prevues" were some of the funniest stuff I've seen on film.
What I have left to see (at least for the break):
TMNT
Babel
Murderball
Dancer in the Dark
Plus, I am all caught up on America's Next Model except for this last week's episodes. Thank you CW for putting the full episodes online. VM starts back up in May! Scrubs needs to stop jerking at my heart strings...okay, no it doesn't.
