(no subject)
So...Shay from the cheerleading squad just called me. I knew she was gonna try to get me to come back. I almost didn't answer; I was just staring at my phone thinking that there was nothing that could make me go back to that squad.
And then....she said the only thing she ever could have said to bring me back:
Brandi Heckert is our new coach. WM's JV cheer coach is MC's new coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing on this world that could possibly make me happier about cheering. I'm so ecstatic about it. Brandi is like the best coach, if only for the reason that she actually was a cheerleader. Because dear god, we've had a succession of people whose only knowledge of cheerleading is the Redskins cheerleaders, if that. But Brandi is a real cheerleader. A REAL COACH. I could not be more happy about it.
And yes, I did just write an entire lj entry about nothing but cheerleading. Sorry.
