Yeah. so the other day I was making my bed... cleaning my room. I was on a roll! The past week I'd been telling myself that I needed to call my friend Scott and tell him I'm back home from FL. Well he called while I was cleaning. It was nice... we talked for a little bit... then out of the blue, he says, "I think I heard your doorbell ring!" So I was like, "No, b/c I can't hear it when I'm in my room." (I'm so stupid) Then he said, "well I KNOW I heard your doorbell ring!" So I walked out of my room, and started to walk upstairs and it hit me!!! I said, "Are you at my door??" Yeah! He came over to see me! I was like... I'm such a dumbass! I really don't pick up on "signs!" So we hung out and then went out for ice cream. Lori invited him over for dinner... so yeah accepted, and we all had really delicious pork chops! Then him and my dad talked about sports after dinner... FOREVER! it was crazy! So we hung out for quite a while! He's a really nice guy. Great friend. I don't know how I am on the idea of dating him... maybe in the future... but I don't know. Anyways. Last night Lori, dad and I were planning on going to the Cass Co. Fair. We went to this 'pub' called Peanut for dinner... great food... and Scott texted me and asked me what was going on. So I ended up asking him if he wanted to meet us at the fair. So obviously, he did. It was fun... we rode the Zipper 3 times! FUN RIDE!!! and we watched some Blue Grass bands. not too bad... then dad, Lori, Jimmy, Todd and Nicole wanted to watch the rodeo. But Scott and I opted for the rides! So that was that. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoy Scotts company. He's such a sweet heart. There was one thing... when we were watching the Blue Grass bands I was looking around at the people, b/c they're SO intersting at those places, and I saw this guy. He reminded me so much of someone that all I could think about the rest of the night was that someone. If he wasn't the main thing on my mind, he was in the back of it! I felt so bad b/c I was trying so hard to enjoy my time with Scott, but had this other person on my mind all night.
It's so hard to pretend...
