A Year Shy of Two Decades!
Well yesterday was my 19th Birthday! I can't believe I'm that OLD! How crazy! lol! It was the first birthday being away from my mom... different. But I had an awesome day! I remember on my 18th birthday I was down in Florida with all my friends, and NO ONE except ONE persome remembered my Birthday! It really sucked. But oh well... what's done is done, and I'm not bothered anymore. This year since I'm not with any of my friends... no one remembered. I didn't feel bad at all, b/c I wasn't there to REMIND anyone! And up here, I don't have an abundance of friends. But I got a christmas/b-day gift from a girl in one of my classes... and I had people wishing me a Happy Birthday all day at school. It was really nice. When I went into my Politics class there were about 5-6 people in there and they sang me happy birthday! It was sweet. I got a lot of really great stuff from my dad and step mom. And my mom sent me some things that are TOTALLY awesome! She knows me SO well! I love it! Then I got some nice things from my two sets of grandparents! They're so great! We went out to dinner last night... It was me, my dad, Lori, my mom's parents, and my dad's parents. And we went to this place called 54th Street Grill and Bar. GREAT FOOD! I love that place! Then we went to the college to see the BIG display of Christmas lights that they have near the lake. So that was nice. But I REALLY enjoyed myself yesterday. I loved that I got to spend it with my family! It was sad that I couldn't see my mom. But I'm going down there the 29th... so I'm ALMOST there! I also talked to Brandon last night on the phone for about an hour... he's such a sweet heart! He talked to me until about 11:30... and had to get up for work ar 4!! It was crazy... but he said that he wanted to hear all about my day! He's such a great guy! We went out on our 3rd date Friday night... and we played LAZER TAG!!!!!!!!!!!!! How awesome is that! It was SOOOOO much fun! I loved it! But anyway... Today my dad had to go out of town for work, and I have a speech I have to give tonight. So i need to go and type up my outline and everything! *OH JOY* but atleast it's the last one I have to give! And it's the last day of my Tues. Thurs. classes until my finals! YAY!
