Manicures, Pedicures, and a Blind Date...
Well this weekend was fun! Friday night I stayed at Amber's house. It's hilarious b/c she has just about NO food at her house, and we had to go to Sonic at 11 something to get a snack before bed. I was DEAD tired b/c I got up early Friday for school, and I had two tests that I had studied for hours for!!
*AND I almost missed my first class b/c there was a wreck on the highway!! If it weren't for Lori calling me to tell me to get on a feter road, I would have completely missed my first test!*
So anyways... we were at her house and she was talking to this guy, Joe, that we were going to meet up the next afternoon at Worlds of Fun with. He was bringing a friend to keep me company, while Amber and Joe were going to get to know each other better. So yeah, it was a total blind date for me... very weird! Well, Saturday morning we had an appointment at 10 to get manicures and pedicures! Well I've never had a pedicure before... and all I can say is... Wow! It felt SO great! That's DEFINATELY something I'll be doing again! So we got white tips on our toes and fingers... and it looks so good. I couldn't stop looking at my feet! Then we went back to her house to take a nap before we were going to leave. ♥Love nap time♥
Yeah, so we get up to Worlds of Fun, and Amber and I are only waiting a few minutes until they got there. Joe buys mine and Amber's tickets, and we work our way around the park. All in all it was a fun time, but it was very akward for Kevin and me. Needless to say, we weren't very attracted to each other. Which I thought was a good thing. I hope it works out for Amber and Joe though... b/c they were SOOO cute together! And I did find a new love this weekend. ♥...Pedicures...♥
