What does "Merdeka" means to you & me? A time to go out & party? A time to see fire works? A time to get stuck in the jam? A time to scream & get drunk?
Most Malaysians has just forgotten the true meaning of independence. & I cannot deny that I have abandon the true meaning of it as well.
In simple terms:
Hari Merdeka (Independence Day) is a national day of Malaysia commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule. In wider context, it is to celebrate the formation of Malaysia.
Hah! Interesting? Maybe not. But to take the time to think of our history.

Venue: Redang Beach Resort, Redang Island
Price: RM450 (including transport)
Inclusive of: 3 snorkeling trips, 4 meals a day including BBQ for 1 night, visit to a turtle conservation project (Chagar Hutang), Free T-Shirt & a certificate of participation
Objectives:
1. To provide an ideal means of educating our target audience through first-hand experience via snorkelling trips and interactive educational talks and workshops.
2. The East Coast of the Peninsular was chosen as our preferred destination because it has numerous marine parks including Pulau Redang Marine Park, Pulau Tioman Marine Park and Pulau Tinggi Marine Park and it is an important area of coral biodiversity in Malaysia.
3. Also the coral & fish species identified here are almost 80% of the number of species identified in the ‘Coral Triangle. (Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea)
