I have always loved New Years Eve and New Years Day. After St. Patricks Day they combine to make my second favorite holiday.
I truly love a fresh start, a chance to improve, a chance for new outlooks and new adventures
A chance to bring lj back
But I really think that my favorite part about new years is that I get to spend it with those whom I love. I get to start the first new day of a brand new year surrounded by those whom I love. And this year was in fact no different.
As i laid awake early this morning in my sleeping bag looking up at the ceiling I realized how precious this moment, this time, and these people were. Life is constantly changing and who knows what the next moment will bring. One thing that I have learned in my 26 years of life is that you should never take anything or anyone for granted because you never know when you are going to lose it or them. You never know when your circumstances are going to change.
So I start this new year off in the same way I start each new year.
Hanging on tightly, braceing myself for the changes, taking in the adventure, and cherishing each and every special moment along the way.
