ick! as a fellow only child, i have to say that i'm more likely to buy your theory as to why that woman was lonely than hers. and i can also commiserate, since i've had similar conversations with people... but instead of some nosey woman at the office, it my ex-boyfriend's mother...and entire family. what people fail to realize is that as much as they can't imagine only wanting/having 0 or 1 child, we can't imagine actually wanting/having 2, 3, 5, 10.

Wow... nice to see that the family thinks that they have control over your uterus. Todd thinks he's going to stick a baby "in there" at some point, but I can't say that I've had his family on my case. Ouch. I would've turned and ran...
