We're among the ruling class

I've been to at least 6 different countries in my lifetime. And I'm young. I own a car and have driven it across the U.S. two full trips and countless other times. I am young. I have been to almost every major city in the U.S. and spent quality time. And I am young. I have no job, yet I am perfectly comfortable-using my heat everynight, buying an expensive espresso drink every week or so..pretty much not thinking too hard. I am young.
I live a lifestyle like the middle class-the upper middle class even. In the U.S. we swallow this lie. We choke on the idea that it is unattainable to become self-sufficient. We strive for that american dream and suck it up that we are working for the better or the worst. We are all middle class. We judge the rich for spending too much. We judge the poor for not working hard enough. We are barely making it with our credit card debt and oversized TV's. But who is swallowing the lie? The middle class. The middle class is simply a social experiment. Marxism says we won't riot until we've become sufficiently oppressed for too long. The American dream must have been spawned from the notion that the majority middle class will keep working 60 hrs/wk in an attempt to get to the upper class status. Anarchists? Communists? My fellow suburbanite liberals? You tell me the 40 hour work week is too much..fuck that..what about the working poor? Seriously, fuck the bullshit rallies and remember that while you are sliding through on your 30 hour/week job there are so many more working days, working nights, working weekends, working midnight, working while we are asleep and at parties. We wonder where the youth are. When did punk rock fall loose from the political movement. A political movement through social forces and political means..but yeah..What do you want those kids to do when they aren't being raised by anyone but themselves? No one wants politics

ehhh..i dunno..i'll rant in a more coherant fashion tomorrow
