(no subject)
I went to The Village last night with Nathan and Steve. It was funny. Yes, funny. On the way home Nathan found a fortune on the ground that said something like "trouble is trouble when you go looking for trouble"...which was village-like enough to scare us a little. We stopped for hot and sour soup and Nathan got his second fortune of the night. This time it was blank. What this means I do not know.
I am addicted to roti at Gandhi Cuisine. Today I tried the butter chicken roti which was very enjoyable.
Today in MP:
a weird man came in that wants us to wholesale stuff to him. hmmm....
a regular customer told me something that made me like him less
got a call about the subway car show. might be a part of it.
a couple came in and posed with different products while taking turns photographing each other.
a cute boy with good sunglasses talked of high park concerts and bag making with me.
french tourists came in and bought seth's postcards to send back home. nice pick.
We had an art show on the weekend called Forests Have Feelings Too. I think it went very well. I like the way it turned out and I'm happy to be surrounded by treedwellers and pirate birds and evil scientists and jelly cats.
I watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the 1970s version). The ending is sticking with me so much that I've been drawing it in different angles, styles, colours. A moment of pure shock on my part. I love it.
I think I'm going to eat udon noodle soup for dinner and rent movies from Queen.
