Tokyo!

So, I arrived in Tokyo last night and was EXHAUSTED. I slept the whole way there pretty much, but you can never really get a GOOD sleep on an airplane. I woke up on the bus to the hotel to see the giant ferris wheel that is on the way to Tokyo Disneyland. The thing is MASSIVE. It took about one hour to transfer from Narita Airport to this airport. Once I arrived, the hotel employees were so kind and the check in process was super fast! I got up to my room and the phone was already ringing. It was my friend Natsumi! We had planned on getting together while I was here, but she was still at work and I was so tired, but we talked for a while and made plans to come and visit eachother when we have vacation.

After that I settled in, got a shower, and laid down in bed. I called Mom and Dad around 7 ish and they were emotional but happy to hear from me. You'd think this was my first time coming over here. I guess you never stop worrying about your kids.

So I tried to stay awake as long as possible, but I totally crashed around 8:30pm and now I'm paying the price. I'm reliving my own personal "Lost in Translation" but without the drinking.

So, as I was searching for the mini-bar list, I happened upon the magic blue internet cord! I plugged it in and voila! Instant internet. I have no clue if it costs anything, but lets face it, I've spent so much money already what's another hundred or so bucks? And in anycase, I'm getting the room at half price anyway because I'm a travel agent, so no biggie.

I ordered up a breakfast for myself to be delivered in the morning... well in about 5 hours. I scheduled my wake up call and I hope to be out of here around 9:30 ish. My flight isn't until 12:30, but I have to check my bags and all that fun stuff. Plus Japanese airports have cute stores, so I can window shop and just relax.

Anyway, I just thought I'd give everyone an update of my status. In 12 hours I'll be in Seoul! Hopefully I can get internet hooked up asap.
