Ok so, our little dog Mocha just got home from the groomers. He’s looking all adorable and ready for Christmas! Although I don’t think he really likes the ribbons… but he’s so cute! haha, he can pretend to be a girl, just for today. ^^;;
And there’s more! Lookie!!! (Yeah, I’m a little high today cause I’m all done with my finals!! Yes FINALLY! … And I don’t even want to care if I failed that last animal bio lab exam..)
So what else is new? Eh I don’t know. Have two weeks of free time now. Already done Christmas shopping… sort of… I’m still considering whether or not to get my sister something Jiro Wang related though. Initially she said she didn’t want anything like that for Christmas, but now it seems like all that talk was just an act. Well, whatever. I still got some time~
Hm… will probably start working on a new layout for Xiah-sshi and Yunho-sshi for 2011… and talking about Yunho-sshi! We are currently recruiting! Graphic artists, translators, moderators, we need it all! Come by and fill out an application, okay? Everyone on the team is easy to get along with, and really, I’m not all that demanding! I am nice! *big ol’ grin*
Project iXIAH is currently in Korea… going through customs, I believe. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and Emilie will be able to receive it safely. Please check Xiah-sshi for updates. I will post them when I have them!
Other than forum work, I think I just want to watch some dramas… haha it’s been so long since I’ve had time for that. I mean non-stop drama watching, not the one episode per day thing. That I have been doing with my mom. And a few weeks ago, I have just finished one of the best TVB series in recent years. ‘No Regrets’, you have to watch it! It’s so touching, everything from family, friendship, to romance. I really wish it was longer. You don’t have to understand Cantonese to watch it either as TVB has released English subtitles and someone has so kindly uploaded them on megavideo. I’ve tried watching some Korean dramas, but I really can’t get myself to like them the way I used to. There’s just too many plot holes and things are so unrealistic to the point where it’s annoying. I am watching ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’ though, just for Jang Geun Suk. Oh, and then there’s Lee Jung Jae, my all time favorite Korean actor. My mom and I just finished watching the ‘Housemaid’. Honestly I don’t see what the reviewers were talking about… but yeah Lee Jung Jae was looking good! It would have been even nicer had he had more screen time.
My sister and I have pretty much watched all the popular Taiwanese Idol dramas over the summer, so there’s not much left. I admit Taiwanese dramas aren’t all that better than Korean dramas, but I definitely prefer to watch them over the latter. While T-dramas aren’t really realistic either and the scriptwriters don’t know how to write like TVB scriptwriters do, I appreciate the fact that T-dramas don’t go into difficult territory like K-dramas tend to attempt (and fail miserably at). T-dramas tend to only stay in their comfort zone of romance, romance, and more romance. I’m actually fine with that. Hey, it’s better than like say ‘Stairway to Heaven’ where Choi Ji Woo gets sent to the hospital and the only means of identifying her is by a wallet (seriously WTF was with that?!) and there’s the whole business thing that some dramas like to incorporate into their storyline, yet it’s obvious the scriptwriter has no idea what he/she is talking about. So yeah, I’m just going to stay away from Korean dramas unless JSG is in it… XD
I want to watch Si Si Xin Dong that stars Blue Lan, unfortunately only half of the drama is subbed. Now, I can understand Mandarin perfectly fine, but my sister will need those subtitles and without them that means… I will have to do the translating. Ok, translating a one hour variety show is already a pain in the ass; I don’t even want to think about translating… oh I don’t know 15 episodes. Just shoot me now.
Then there’s ‘Love Buffet’ that’s airing this Sunday. Hopefully it’ll more interesting than the last few dramas that were on air. ‘Endless Love’ doesn’t look that bad though. I might give it a try.
