It's cold here. It just needs to stop. Like, right now. Please?
This morning Ms. Casper came up to me in the hall and was like "Ok, here's the plan..." So basically I have to come up with a list of reasons why I'm a dependable person and then she'll write a recommendation for me for this month's character award. I already have a few. Anyone got any ideas?
So in history we read an excerpt from The Jungle that was insanely icky and turned me off of meat for a while (she says after coming home and eating a bologna sandwich. Ok, so maybe a while was like, four minutes). Then we took some notes. I've pretty much deicided that I'm dropping that final.
In French we...oh who am I kidding I have absolutely no idea what happened in French. I think we did some worksheets. And such.
In band we sat around for a while at the beginning of class because Murph was busy doing something and so I talked to Lauren and we briefly discussed how *certain individuals* should not be allowed to play Linkin Park songs on their instrument. It does not make you cool. Especially if you aren't even doing it right.
In geometry I spent the entire hour reading As I Lay Dying so that I could catch up to where I'm supposed to be.
Which didn't even pay off because we didn't have a quiz today. All we did was discuss parts of the book and we were like "Oh look! Scarlett Letter-ness!" Oh, and we also dicussed Cheney's hunting accident. There were some fun moments in that one.
I'm getting a new phone! Ok, so not soon. Maybe soon. It depends. But I am getting one sometime in the next three and a half months. And why am I so excited? I'm getting the pink RAZR!!! Yay yay yay yay yay yay yay! Ok, that was me being probably a little overexcited about pink technology. Oh well.
My Daddy brought me Panera for dinner. It was yummyful. But then I told him that my left ear felt weird, like it was closing up sometimes, so we went to his office so he could look at it and apparently I have a massive amount of earwax and so he has to get something for me to flush it out. I know, icky.
I'm very happy for tomorrow. It's Valentine's Day, and I've never really had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day. Yes, there was Craig, but that was in 6th grade and therefore it was all very...6th grade. I'm just excited and happy, even though Matt already gave me my present last night (a pink heart shaped stone on a thin silver chain that is soooo pretty and I absolutely love).
So in conclusion: yay for character awards, yay for dropping finals, yay for RAZRs, yay for Panera, not yay for massive earwax buildup, yay for Valentine's Day and my boyfriend and pretty necklaces, and yay for my cat, who is currently on my lap and scratching me through my pants and who is probably annoyed with me right now, but it's ok, because I'm annoyed with him. And yay for Annette. Because I love her. We all love her.
