I wish I was an otaku in Japan
I re-read Marmalade Boy in one day. Wow, it was the first manga I read but one of the strangest. I was how old when I bought it...? Around 13 I think? Dating your non-blood related brother is just weird no matter how many times you look at it. Gah.
Besides that, I have four over due books which I haven't started yet. Does anyone know how much they charge you for that a day? This can't be good. I've been working on my Freya outfit all day so I dont have much time to actually read a book-book. Manga is a whole lot faster to read than a book-book. But yeah, my dress is almost done! Let me list some things that need to be finished...
I need to buy tights still, because the ones I have I not only ripped, but I also lost them. I need to figure out how to stick the red roses on the shoe without it bothering me or having to glue it. I still haven't figured out about the frizzy wig problem... Someone suggested that I use sewing machine oil but I don't really want it to be oily. You can't use real hair products on wigs, so don't even bother to suggest it. OH! New problem. Foundation. What the heck? Is there no make up that matches my skin? I don't think I'm THAT pale. Bah! Yeah I know makeup is icky, but I don't want to look acne infested in pictures that'll probably be put up on the net somewhere by other people. Ahh, I wish I had nice skin! If I had nice skin I wouldn't complain so much about my weight, I promise! Oops, I'm going off subject. Anyway, my worst problem is that I have no chobit ears nor the spools. My monkey of a brother was SUPOSED to help make them for me but nooooo, oh no, he's just so busy doing nothing to bother to help me out. Well phoo on him! I e-mailed a few professional proper makers about it. Though it's been almost a week and they haven't replied... So I tried making the ears myself from paperclay. It turned out looking like a mutated blob, so I gave up. My next step is making it from foam sheets, because I don't want to buy them from stupid e-bay. It will really really suck if I don't have chobit ears in time for the convention. I'll be Freya without ears and that just doesnt work at all.
Anyway, just wanted to mention real quick before I get off that I'm now on facebook, yay! I like that it's more private than myspace. I only want my good friends looking at my photos. People are just weird when they have a a zillion people watching them without knowing who they are. That would make me seriously uncomfortable. Okay I'm going to get off now, toodles for now!
PS. Cassie thought I was dating Dylan. How hilarious is that? Silly Cassie, how did you come to that conclusion?
