I have sadly neglected LJ... Blogger and Facebook have such a pull on me. An update of sorts wouldn't be entirely out of order, so on my random day-off I thought perchance to type one...
Steve and I are so extremely happy and content together. We have a small condo and some other bill payments that strap us for cash some months, but overall we have it pretty good.
Steve quit the framing crew and is now working on an apprenticeship in cabinetry and really enjoys it. When he needs to go to NAIT in Edmonton for School, he (or we) can stay at my parent's place. I am painting... as in walls, houses, commercial, not canvas and pallets... ;-) My boss is great fun and easy-going, so getting some time off is a cinch (except I have the toss-up of we need the money right now, so i need to work...).
We are involved with getting Young Life started up in Grande Prairie, and are very excited about it. In March we are planning to attend a Snow Camp (basically a ski trip) with the YL kids, as they need adult volunteers to actually go down the hill and hang out with the teens.
Well, as boring and short as this is, I am tried of typing already, and will leave yo uwith this rahter un-inspired piece. ME for hot-chocolate!!
