Ngl, I like Andy Murray, he seems quite nice and your sports media are horrific *lol* I can't wait for the Ashes, not because of the cricket, but because of the headlines it's bound to produce!
Oh Roddick/Haas. That thought never actually entered my head (it's probably a really bad thing I just assume Roger will win unless he's playing Nadal on clay isn't it?) I think I like Roger because he cries in front of millions of people around the world whenever he wins :P and his outfit for Wimbledon is classy, I love the gold trim on his tracksuit :D *dork* I also think he's quite humble when he wins, and loses.
Lleyton just...grrrr. The best day of my tennis fangirling life (is that weird?) was when Safin beat him at the Australian Open final in 2005. I was beyond happy (Mum found it all very amusing) and then Safin goes and cracks a joke that was something like...'well done parents, coach, girlfriend, everybody' because the press Lleyton and Bec were getting was NUTS!
Oh LOL. Do people always soliliquy like that at the Australian Open? I think at Wimbledon they just get gently interviewed and mumble something about it being tough. Hee he is amusing though.
I think our media is just horrific all around, they even made one of our female players cry at the beginning of the tournament. 'Do you feel you have let some people down?' WTF dude she's playing at Wimbledon, she's not doing that bad even if she didn't win.
I think Roddick/Haas would be unlikely, but certainly a bit of a different final anyway :D
I'm so late in replying but I've not been online :( And yes, that always happens at the Australian Open, there's always an acceptance speech and most of the time it's short like 'you're all awesome, *runner up* is awesome, yay' haha
Roddick/Federer it is! I found out tonight (haven't been watching the news either. True Blood has taken over my life!) I don't know who to go for. I really, REALLY want Andy to win. But I also want Roger to win to get the 15th title out of the way.

I only have one tennis icon...if I could be bothered I'd go look for more *g*
