Now there is all this back and forth over the Dove commercials in feminist. Some people feel its hypocritical to tell women to love their bodies and try to sell them firming cream in the same breath. I don't agree. I do more upkeep when I am feeling good about myself then when I am feeling unattractive. If you see yourself as an 8 and think firming cream will make you an 8.5 it might be worth the purchase. If you think you are a 2 you're not going to aspire to be a 2.5. I hate when my friends try to "pretty me up", do my hair, make me dress nice, etc. Because if I am just not feeling it, I feel like an ugly person that is trying too hard. But when I am already feeling good about myself then looking nice just makes me more confident. Plus its better then how cosmetics are usually sold. "Yeah, see this 15 year old model, if you buy our product you'll look just like her. No really, you will." *snickers*
