(Just a quick note to say I won't be posting all of my YouTube videos on my journal, as I make videos more frequently than I update at the minute and don't want journal entries with four or five videos like this one! So if you want to watch them subscribe on YouTube.)
Life has simply been too hectic to update as of late but it's half term this week so I've been able to take a little free time to myself. I had to go into university today to get the feedback from my dissertation and I got a first! I am so incredibly happy that all the hard work I put into it paid off and it's another thing to cross off my worry list. I'm just waiting for my exam results and overall degree classification now, which will be late June. Also, I only have 15 teaching days left of my placement and one of those days is a school trip! As much as I'm enjoying school I will admit to looking forward to a nice long rest.
For those of you who follow me on twitter you may know that I had a job interview just over a week ago and although they did offer me the job I turned it down. I won't bore you with the details but let's just say that it was a very encouraging first interview despite it not being the right post for me. Hopefully I will be able to secure something in the next few weeks.
In other news I went to stay with my grandma this past weekend, which was lovely. We went to Newark for the day and ate lots of yummy food in Gannets to sustain our shopping efforts! My cousin and I went to see Night at the Museum 2, which I have to say was very disappointing bar Hank Azaria who was hilarious as always. I drove home on Bank Holiday Monday and straight to my friends' student house for a night which can only be termed chaos. There was wine, karaoke, stair gremlins, singing sheep and many other strange events. Here's two quick photos of my friends (note the false eyelashes!)
I hope everyone is well and I'm going to try and catch up with your entries this weekend ♥
