otaku-ness
having an anime craving at the moment... probably heightened since reading Peter Carey's Wrong About Japan, which was entertaining and thought-provoking in equal measure. so... i watched princess mononoke, and have ordered blood: the last vampire, akira, metropolis, and kai doh maru. (also a kim possible dvd for my disney channel-less wondertwin to see how cool her namesake is! kim possible is actually classified as anime it's weird and very wrong, it's american.)
now i need to do some ebaying again to pare down my video and dvd collection to the essentials. i seem to need to do this every so often as they start piling up on the floor because there's no room on the shelves any more!
