Dad and I went on a two-hour, ten mile Segway tour of downtown San Diego this morning whilst Sue took the kids to the beach, it was totally awesome! I would love to own a Segway, although they wouldn't be that practical in London as the pavements are too narrow and busy.
This afternoon dad and Sue went shopping, and I took the kids to see 'Karate Kid' at the cinema, which was good. My favourite part of the film was actually listening to Libby picking out and translating words that she knows, when the characters were speaking in Chinese! (She's only in junior kindergarten but has already started learning mandarin and french at school, and enjoys them both.) Off to bed now, as I have to get up early in the morning to finish up packing and have breakfast before heading to the airport. Wish I had another week at least!
