i've just had a really special lunch today. not because i really like tuna and tomatoes on toast (although i do, i love it), but see those green things liberally sprinkled all over? that's freshly cut chive and i grew it myself on my suburban bedroom windowsill!

cool! i'm going to plant some carrots soon, and i'm thinking about getting one of those upside-down hanging grobag things for tomatoes too.

That's very impressive! I am growing tomatoes in a hanging basket and strawberries in a pot, and I have also planted some lavender out the front and some sweet peas to climb up the wall of our backyard - in an attempt to introduce some greenery into the sea of brick and concrete!

P.S. I am investigating a scone meeting. Market Harborough seems to be the optimum scone eating location so far...

that's really cool, how are your tomatoes getting on? my granny found her first reddish one the other day, mum's are still all green.
