ok, well i've done this for the past four years running and i'm not one to break with tradition so here goes:
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
graduated from university, moved in with my fiancee, got dumped, got promoted, finally gave up smoking for good
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i did actually. last year's was to see more of my brother and sisters, and i definitely made it over there much more than in previous years. i haven't made any for 2008, i'll just take it as it comes.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no.
5. What countries did you visit?
france
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
more energy. and more sleep!
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory?
i'd like to say June 16th, when
hiddenshallows and i moved out of student accommodation into our own flat. and it might. but unfortunately it's more likely to be 31st October because it's kind of memorable anyway. at least i wasn't dumped on my birthday or something, that would suck more!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
i've worked really hard and done pretty well in my job, so i'm going to say that.
9. What was your biggest failure?
not getting a 2:1 i guess, although i'm not so cut up about it any more.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
a couple of stubbed toes, a cold or two and a week in agony with TMJ.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Dylan, Charlotte and Elizabeth's because i love them, i'm so proud of them and they keep surprising me.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
the guy who broke into our flat in the middle of the night and rummaged around in our handbags while we were sleeping.
14. Where did most of your money go?
rent, food and travel as always!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
juicing! there were juicing songs, juicing dances... good times.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
the theme to 'Traverse Town' in Kingdom Hearts.

at my Dad's house with my Step-mum and my siblings. if you've never watched very elderly relatives playing Wii tennis then you've missed out on some pure comedy!

no.

none.

heroes.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
no, i don't hate people.

The Crimson, Petal and White by Michael Faber

Libera again, i keep rediscovering how amazing they are.

a Pocket Surfer 2

a puppy. i'm still hoping.

Stardust and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i was 24. i went to the zoo with Greg, and then out to a turkish restaurant in the evening with Laura.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
if i'd had more time to spend with Laura, friends and family. my 6am starts for work were very restrictive.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
let's grab everything in the wardrobe, throw it up in the air and see what lands on me.

Greg and my family.

Hiro from Heroes, i love him! although Mohinder is my tv boyfriend.

does poor wee Madeleine McCann count as a political issue?

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
i learned about the importance of contents insurance, although that hasn't seemed to stop me letting mine lapse for six months. need to get onto that for the New Year!
