just another manic thursday
finally, a chance to sit down and update. i've been busy busy busy. went to dad's on sunday, helped them move house on monday, tuesday and wednesday, and came home wednesday night. i was working today, have to work tomorrow and saturday, and am planning to go back to dad's on sunday to see everyone before they go to france for the summer on friday!
three days of cleaning, packing, unpacking and helping with the kids. i actually really enjoyed it. i liked getting extra bonding time with libby while dad and sue were busy. the kids' new nanny started on monday. i have to begrudgingly concede that i do quite like her, even though i'm still jealous that she's getting to spend more time with my brother and sisters than i can. for some reason, the fact that they've had a nanny as long as i've known them has never bothered me, just with this one, she's near enough my age, and she's got the same christian name as me. i know it's irrational, but i feel a bit replaced.
i've got so much stuff to sort out before i go to vienna. i must admit that although i am really excited about moving back there for a year, and i love the city almost as much as i love london, i do have a few tentative reservations... i don't want it to turn out like last time. i know i'm older, and much more mature (yeah so i don't act it), but it took me close to two years to get over the deep loneliness and depression that set in whilst i was there. if i ever started feeling like that, i'm worried i wouldn't be able to deal with it again.
