horatio my mechanical hamster is dead :(
i put him in his ball, flicked his switch... and he just sort of sat there looking cute. fetched my emergency first-aid toolkit and tried unscrewing his bum and poking around inside, but he was haemorraging battery fluid and there was nothing i could do...
i have the difficult bin/burn decision now. what would the little chap have wanted?
as his next of kin i am entitled to inherit his collection of priceless antique thimbles, though it's really no consolation as i'll have to sell them to cover his gambling debts.
