1st Day of School...YIPPEE!!!!
Um. Not really.
Class was fine...boring though. All the various teachers did was hand out syllabi (sp?). Surprisingly enough, my most hated class was intro to comm, only because the teacher was actually a counselor for the communications dept and it's an all freshman class so she was ridiculously condescending. I felt bad about myself after that class. PLUS IT WAS FREAKING LONG...11:50 to 1:10 and all we did was stupid icebreakers. Blech. SO. JUVENILE.
But the Psych class was fun...it was like 200 students and the teacher was really funny and my acting class was like less than 20 people, which will be either semi-awkward or incredibly fun...there was a cute boy named Chris in that class, which made it HIGHLY enjoyable.
BUT HOLY CRAP, THE WALKING!!!! I somehow scheduled all my classes the farthest that they could possibly be away from each other with only 15 min. in between each class and you would think that would be enough...BUT NO. Esp. not in this heat! It was like 106 degrees today and I was HIKING IT, resulting in sweaty out-of-breathness and instantly frizzy hair. Annoying and unattractive. Plus the fact that me and my friends stayed up til like 3 in the am watching Gia (can you say ridiculous lesbian love scenes?) really didn't help matters.
Ok but ANYWAY. I have to go b/c there's a greek info meeting at the Union at 5:30 and I'm taking the ridiculous Campus Shuttle...Maybe I should just drive. Because that thing is ACTUALLY ridiculous. Like, ACTUALLY (as Slovakian would say).
