If you think that's something...

My sob story:

I wake up to my 11 year old brother smiling with glazed eyes staring outside at the snow. I curse under my breath because I still haven't taken the stupid Chemistry test I've studied 6+ hrs. for (no joke) and I'm afraid Ms. Daschel will cancel it which will be bad because my grade is crap without it (thank you Chapter 7). The website says school's still happening, I convince my father who's muttering on and on about the stupidity of the Portland school district that cancels school when there's no snow and then is afraid to again when the conditions are dangerous because they don't want to be made fun of again. We get in the car. We go down the hill in my dad's little Mazda. He brakes towards the bottom but there's no traction, and we're heading straight for the car in front of us which we rear end, as we watch helplessly. Luckily, there wasn't much damage. After five minutes we finally get back on the road so we can turn around and go back home. Again, the car won't stop because there's so little traction- if the light hadn't turned green we would have hit oncoming traffic. Going five mph we crawl back up our hill and park. Get inside- school's cancelled! argh argh argh. All I can say is, what did I ever do to Mother Nature to deserve the academic hell that's awaiting me?!
