It's about time!!!
IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Cingular got my number ported!!! It only took 10 days...no, not hours...DAYS! I honestly can't express the level of pissed-off-ness that I was harboring for the past week or so about this whole phone deal. Now, my phone is functioning and I don't have to mail dead rodents to Cingular. (Kidding about the rodents....kinda.) Bonus ~ The new phone works here at my office! My shitty Sprint service didn't work out here in BFE, but Cingular does. Hooray! Now I can make personal calls on company time, lol.
Another quite exciting thing happened yesterday. Neilio stopped by the office for a quickie.....I mean a quick visit. He's out of school this week (bastard) and came out here to have lunch with a few of us peons here at ASI. It was cool to see him and hear stories about how much teaching sucks ass......well, at least he says doing HELLA work for being a teacher sucks. He also had a pretty darn hilarious story about one of his co-workers who made a few porns back in the 70's. About the film he said, and I quote, "She was pretty hot back then."
One thing that sucks a considerable amount of balls is that I have a doctor appointment this afternoon. IF YOU'RE A GUY, SKIP THE REST OF THIS PARAGRAPH AND MOVE ON TO THE LAST ONE. So, I had to drive myself to work instead of carpooling. Ugh, there goes a quarter tank of gas. Anyway, not only do I get the pleasure of having metal objects crammed into me and then cranked open, but I get the added bonus of having to pay many dollars to suffer through this torture. So much fun, can't wait.
Let me part with this random quote that was actually spoken in my office today....."Do you want to get your picture taken with the chocolate bar?" Unbelievably, someone actually said yes.
