(no subject)
So it has been like a billion days, or at lease it seems, since I have updated. Alot has happened, yet nothing really significant--Just a lot of little things. I am at home currently as is everyone else on fall break. I had not been home since I left for school in the summer. So 7 weeks! It felt so weird, seriously I felt as though I should not have come home. I was so close to just leaving and going back to school. Now that I am here and have taken my room from its nice clean, spotless, organized appearance to a cluttered, one pathway to get to the bed, messy, untidy and unorganized state (I know my mom is lovin' it though ;) ).
My mom and I went shopping yesterday and bought me a suit for interviews...yes I have begun to realize that I am going to have to enter the real world in less than a year and well in order to make that step I need a suit for interviews. So it was a good time shopping with my mom and hunting down the perfect interviewing suit. It is black with grey pin stips...very cute and I love it. I should since it was $150 yikees!
I took my state test to get certified to teach early childhood last weekend. It was seriously a piece of cake and I know with out a doubt that I passed!! Finding the testing sight was unfortunetly not a piece of cake though. It was good times though...did not realize that it was so hard to communicate to someone leading / following you, but we worked it out and made it.
I am very excited that exams are over. It was a very stressful week and a half. I also learned some valuable lessons...such as I need to pay more attention in class, I need to actually read my textbook closely instead of skim them, and I should put effort into my papers...hmmm good lessons. I have 7 more weeks to change everything :)
I miss Alma and can't wait to go back on Sunday!
