The holidays are almost here!
My favorite tree on campus had lost all of its leaves when I saw it today. This tree is nothing spectacular. It is very small and near where I park down by ECV; however, this fall it had the most beautiful orange-pink leaves. Now the leaves are gone and it made me think about how fall is coming to a close and the holidays are almost here. As cliche as it is, I really do think "it's the most wonderful time of the year."
Yesterday, I went to Target and bought a few Christmas decorations for Ben & I...just the essentials...a tree, a skirt for the tree, and I bought some ribbon for presents & other decor. I also ordered stockings for us. And this morning, I bought my first Christmas gifts on Amazon.com. I was really excited to start my shopping, but I am still hoping most of it will occur during the major post-Thanksgiving sales. This shopping trip as well as Thanksgiving itself also have me really excited. I cannot wait to see Sarah & Milo(?) and to spend time with my family.
