Real update: The Harvest Festival went wonderfully, even though it was inside. For Mackenzie and anyone else who cares: The Harvest Festival is annual event that the art museum I am doing my internship at puts on where older members of the Athens community come in and set up old time craft demonstrations. They teach kids (who come to the festival on field trips) how to do the crafts, square dance, and make food among other things, like they us to. It was really fun to watch all of the kids learning and to learn a few things myself.
Also, I got my test back today in Sociology of the Family...I got a 101. I don't think that has happended since high school, maybe middle school. It was by far the highest grade in the class and I intend on bragging to anyone who will listen.
Tonight I am going to Cold Stone with Melissa, Brooks & Kendra to eat ice cream & support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Dessert & charity...what a great combination.
