Finally back.
I have had one hell of a time over the last month and a half or so. I just got back to school this week--we started classes on Tuesday. I think my new course load is going to be cool, and my professors seem good, but I have been busy all week getting myself set up again in my room after the break and just settling in. Hence my not having gone online till today. Tonight I'm going to a party with some friends of mine from Harvard, I think, but I'm not sure yet. Alexis and I have to decide what to do.
So, to explain my long absence over winter break from the internet... The day after I got home from school (speaking of which, my grades were pretty good for the semester, so that's always nice), my mom got into this massive car accident, with like 4 cars, and she was in the hospital for a few weeks, and so I was at the hospital with her constantly... and when she finally came home I just did a lot of taking care of her. She had a lot of internal bleeding, and broken arm and leg and ribs.... it was really bad. But thankfully she is on her way to recovery, so I don't feel so bad being back at school and leaving her at home. I'm just thankful that no one died in the accident, considering how bad it was and how many people were involved.
But, as part of this update, Alexis was so great for me during that time. We are still together and I really think I might be falling in love. She was there for me, and there for my family---she even came to visit for a while and cooked for us and everything while we were in the hospital. My parents have been really cool about this, and they really like her. And she was just so wonderful to us. So now, it's great being back at school with her there with me all the time.
So.... anyway, I should go get ready and pretty myself up. Despite the rough winter break, I did manage to get some great new clothes and I think I feel like prettying myself up!
