TONIGHT! Hurricane Relief Benefit at Lucky 13 Saloon
Last year Lucky 13 raised $1000 in a few hours for an animal sanctuary, this year we hope to surpass that with our Hurricane Relief Benefit.
Lucky 13's benefit for Katrina Disaster Relief will take place on Friday, September 16th. A plethora of fantastic DJs from metal to punk to deathrock to goth includes DJ Ru, DJ Dirty Santos, DJ Mange, DJ Colon Cancer & DJ Hexxus! A Tribal Fusion Bellydance by ORKIDEH at 10:30 PM! MAGIC ZORILLO will be playing a LIVE set at Midnight, the sweetheart of burlesque, MISS RUBY VALENTINE will be performing starting at 1 AM and there will be different go-go girls raising your "spirits" throughout the night. :) We will even be raffling off a couple-hour tattoo by ERIC HUFFMAN of Addiction tattoo, who worked out of a shop in NOLA before coming to NYC to work last year. Second through fifth prizes in the raffle won't be too shabby either and will include a gift certificate to the super-swanky restaurant STANTON SOCIAL as well as tickets to see BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB at Irving Plaza, a set of skull jewelry from PINK MONSTER PARTY and a couple of bottles of ZYGO, the energy vodka! ALSO, there will be a silent auction for an ORIGINAL piece of art by none other but the amazing DAVID STOUPAKIS!! 100% of proceeds of all of this will go towards the Relief fund and ALL SALES OF ZYGO shots/drinks AND OUR SPECIALLY-PROCURED NEW ORLEANS beer BLACKENED VOODOO - both $5 - 100% of proceeds of those two drinks will go directly into the fund! As well as a percentage of the overall Lucky 13 register! so PLEASE come and spend money for such a good cause!
There will also be an OPTIONAL $5-20 Door Donation Requested.
