WiNTeR BLiTz 2004
Woah.. so last nite i got back from the best trip! It was a snowboard/ski trip to the WIsconsin Dells! We stayed at the Kalahari Resort and went snowboarding/skiing at the Cascade Mountains! It was awesome.. but i did miss some friends behind (LC,Will,Jen,Jaci,Core,and Kyle)We went up there for about 3 dayz.. if you count it that long.
First day (Leaving for Wisconsin)- That was the longest day outta all of them. We had to be at the High School by 3:45.. cuz thats when the van was leavin. Barb took the van with all the bags and boards.. while we all got in another van with Tom. Oh my gosh.. our van was soo jammed. It was Geoff,Nicole,Gina,Russ,Terri,Robby,Jake,Lizzie,Me,ZImmer,and Sean.. plus 2 straglers from peotone.. but they didnt count cuz they were really lil. lol. One of them looked exactly like John Sutliff.. it was crazy lol Geoff. "Geoff: holy crap.. that kid looks like John Sutliff! Me and Gina: I know!!" That ride.. seemed like it took FOREVER! I mean it was soo uncomfortable.. and i couldnt sleep! lol Me n Gina listened to Center Stage.. but u could only listen to soo much of that plus everyone was either crabby or had no room. We got to the hotel around 11-ish. We checked in.. had a Campus Life session (funfun!) and went to our rooms. Corey called me.. and he sounded completely normal (lol but secretly was DRUNK!) So once i got off the phone with him.. we decided to bring out the cameras and food.. and be silly! haha. So we (me and gina) finally were the last to fall asleep and did around 2:30... i dont know about Gina tho.. she was tossin n turnin alll nite. " Gina: omg lizzie.. you were jumping in ur sleep! Lizzie: nuh-uh Gina: ya.. (imitates) Terri and Me: omg (start laughing) Lizzie: I dont jump!"
Second day- We got up for another meeting around 9. We went down there and came back and got ready to go to the waterpark. Mike was a butt-head and wanted to sleep.. while we all swam. We went down and me n terri were worried about our swimsuits cuz they had a rule about no string bikinis (which was retarded). We stayed at the waterpark till 1:30. It was huge.. we played in the playplace too! "Gina: look theres cute boys squirting you! Me: I know.... (yells) Stop squirting me! Boy: ooh sorry.. you were just there.. and he smiled (and he was quite hot!!) Me: haha.. ur funny. Ill cya later. Boy: yep, ill cya. Gina: OMG TOTAL FLIRTAGE! haha Me: soo what.. never see him again! haha
We got back to the room and got ready to go out to lunch.. and boarding! So we get to the mountains.. and it took forever for registration! I mean.. like an hour. Which sucked. So we finally got out to the slopes.. and it was soo much fun! Me and Mike were board-lift partners and fell on eachother like a million times. "Mike: you go right and ill go left. Me: okay.. u think its gunna work? Mike: ya.. go!" (didnt work.. he fell then i did and he blamed me for it! grr! lol) I fell most of the way and hit my butt-bone and knees real hard. So we ended that around 8:30 and headed back to the hotel. Lemme tell you we got some great pictures up there! "Mike: get one of me.. pretending to board!" We got back to the hotel and had a session.. then went up to our rooms. We fell asleep soo quick.
Third Day( Leaving for Crete)- We wake up around 8 (which sucks) and had our last session (funfun!) We get dressed and packed up and head for the slopes. Only one problem.. everything that was in barbs van.. has to go in ours! Ugh.. so handy Russ gets everything loaded in (thanks! haha) and we get comfortable.. so its easier to get home too. And we head for the slopes. The boys decide to go on bigger stuff.. so me and gina head for the bunny hill. Jake and Lizzie so skiing.. Mike hurt his head and was standin around takin pictures with Nicole. So me and Gina head up and we get to the top and get going. So im part way down and i fall on my butt and all i hear is Jamie here i come! I turn around and Gina is coming at me.. then i open my eyes and were all tangled with eachother! Ahh it was soo funny! "Gina: take a picture of me on the lil hilly thing! (throws camera) Me: kk.. Gina goes for it and im pressin the button Me: it wont work! Its not turned all the way Gina:ugh ooh well. (we both start laughing) Russ comes and gets us so we can go get ready to get on the bus and return stuff. So we get on the bus and we get all comfortable.. terri robby gina and russ in the back. Mike me and Sean in the middle and jake lizzie and geoff in the front with nicole in the front front. We all pass out and wake up in time to get food. So we stop at a oasis and eat.. get back on the bus and head home. We get home about 8:30 and we go our steperate ways. We had an awesome time.. and i cant wait for next years.
I came home.. took a shower and talked to Will! It was soo long since i talked to him and i missed him soo much. Hes back till the 29th and then hes leavin again. So he gave me his address and were gunna write back and forth! Im soo happy to talk to him again!
