good fried rice:
1 cup instant brown rice (cooked- a little dry)
1 tsp garlic
2 tsps olive oil
1 small steak (pork chop, chicken, tofu, ect. can be substituted, i just had steak on hand)- thawed and cubed
1 small yellow onion
10 or so cherry tomatoes
1 handful crasins (raisins could be used, and plumping for a few minutes in water would be good)
1 egg
For taste- thai garlic sauce & teriyaki sauce
Cook 1 cup rice, cook until dry.
Heat wok with oil & garlic- be sure garlic doens't burn
Cook beef (or other protein)
Once beef is browned, put in chopped onion, tomatoes, & crasins
Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until onion is cooked
Shift wok contents, break egg & begin to fry
Put rice in wok, incorporate ingredients together & cook to desired consistency/ taste- throw in thai garlic sauce at last moment while in wok
