Hell's Kitchen Season 5, Episode 8

Apr 22, 2009 20:52

The close is for a trip to The Borgata.

Robert almost has a heart attack.*

Andrea, stop squealing.

Seriously, Danny!  No more flannel!

Ooh The Borgata is fancy pants.

Here's a huge empty room for you!

Girls get a spa treatments.

Boys get "poolside honies."

At the big special dinner Robert leaves to seek medical attention.

They suggest hospital and he goes.

*He actually has heart problems.  Way to go scaring the big guy!

The four return to Hell without Robert but he returns only to tell them he can't continue.

Robert's farewell montages features my two favorite quotes of his, the "loofah" and the "free fucking ferry ride" quotes.

I'll miss the big guy.

Signature dish time!  The winner gets immunity (which is stupid on a cooking show).

I can't wait to hear Ben's ten minute explanation.

Danny Flannel: Ugly but delicious.

Andrea: Great harmony, delicious.

Paula: Delicious, good seasoning.

Ben: "This dish is definitely something you're not...pretty."  But he's not safe.

Surprisingly Andrea wins.

Paula looks like she's gonna cry.

Isn't it about time to bring some former chefs back?

I wonder if Jean Phillipe needs to work during the off season.

During service Andrea's scallops are sent back raw.

Ben forgets an order and brings up cold puree.

Paula's ready but Andrea's not.

Ben loses it.

Chef calls Ben a "dirty pig" and then throws him out.

Ben comes back with a fight and Andrea's raw fish is sent back.

Danny is sent to save Andrea's fish.

I don't think Andrea should retain immunity after her miserable performance during service.

The team has to decide on two.

Andrea nominates Ben and Paula.  Paula's nomination results in shock from Chef and a laugh from Paula.

Chef sends Paula back in line without a complete sentence from her.

No surprise he calls Andrea instead saying she sunk Ben tonight.

But Andrea is still safe because Chef is a man of his word and this is Ben's last chance.

Since Robert left earlier no one else goes home.
