Confession: I like Plus One, A LOT.

I definitely saw a shoe in the road on the way to the wonderful Westfield Shopping Center. A shoe, so what right. Well I couldn't help thinking of Dane Cook's skit about the man hit by a car whose shoes come off in a "fit of joy". Oh it was great, I got a chuckle-or two out of it.
But wait it gets better.
I went to the mall in hopes of finding out some info about the soon coming hot topic. YES, I want to work at hot topic, I am well aware that they have some of the most annoying kids in the world shopping there. I still see it being a fun place to work. I think my motive is a little selfish but i am determined to get a monroe, and Sonny's won't have it. So I say PEACE OUT to them. Well not yet, but as soon as I get another job. Anyway I pay a visit to the front desk to inquire about this rumored hot topic. An older man gets on a walkie talkie and says-like 5 times-"i have a young lady down here with an application". 2 minutes later this shorter-than-me-mexican man in ho hum clothes comes, and i'm like "hm okay, he doesn't look too official". He asked if i spoke spanish, and I probably gave him a weird look, "Uh no". Then he looks at my hot topic application and gives me the same weird look. Him and the older man exchange some words and turns out old man river thought i said HOUSEKEEPING. Seriously. WHAT?!!?!!?. YEAH. What 19 year old girl wants to be a housekeeper at the mall. I definitely don't look older than I am. I'll be 20 in April, but some people find it hard to believe I'm 19. Turns out they had no clue about hot topic or hiring, or the date of opening. Thanks alot Westfield Shopping Center customer service.
Well I woke up to walk the dog. I think I need more sleep before going to hell at 4. i hope I don't have to close, i am so miserbly sick. ;/
