More icons! hehe but also a bit of a rant.

I stayed up late enough to watch Yu Yu Hakusho, and learned that they’re using a different set of opening credits. I’m going to kill the Funi bastards responsible. Touya and Jin are still on the show, but they’re not in the credits like they were when they weren’t on the show. It doesn’t make any se~nse!! *tear*
And, hehe, spoilers in white.

But they got their butts handed to them recently - their defeats are still in the recap. All it showed was their last expression, and I whimpered when I saw Jin’s before sobbing when I watched Touya collapse. You can ask my dog - I really did start crying. So in the recap, I got to see two things - the last expressions of pain that my favorite characters wore before losing consciousness and Kurama summon a bloodsucking plant to kill someone. Kurama almost died because he was too stubborn to go Youko (at least that’s the message I got. I could have missed something: I was still crying then, and the volume was only at two), and the first time we see him in the episode itself, he’s kneeling without the strength to stand and Suzuka (with Shishi on his shoulder), Touya, and Jin are looking at him worriedly. What followed was surely a sign of the apocalypse: Jin being serious. That’s right folks, he doesn’t smile once.
Now, I said that Suzuka, Shishi, Touya, and Jin were staring worriedly at Kurama. But if you know anything about the Makai Tournament, you’ll know that Chu was in it too (in frequent company of aforementioned worried starers). My personal opinion is that he’s off getting laid, because, yep, drunky got a girlfriend. Which of course shows us two things: one being that Australian liquor fighters need love too, and the other being that blue Mohawks are a chick magnet. Hells yeah.
But I digress. And a comment about Touya’s height - he’s the only one who doesn’t have to kneel, bend over, squat, or generally lower himself when they’re standing around Kurama, and he can still almost make eye contact. It’s weird, and tribute to the fact that Touya is the fourth shortest character on the show (usually I say third but I keep forgetting Rinku, who’s around Genkai’s height).
But really, Jin’s all serious. And he says ‘ew.’ It’s funny. xD Well, it’s really more like ‘eegh’ but what’s the difference? The point is that he made a noise of disgust and it was funny. Apparently he’s averse to the idea of people being split apart.
The episode that I watched gave me definite proof on another point: everyone loves Kurama. Out of the four demons who were standing around him, only two of them (Suzuka and Touya) had ever played a significant part in his plotline (he fought Touya and Suzuka gave him the Fruit of Previous Life). But Jin and Shishi seem rather worried about him too. And while there are signs that Touya and Suzuka are more concerned than the others, they’re all definitely concerned. Otherwise they wouldn't have stayed loyally by his side the entire time.
And now for the reason that most of you read my LJ nowadays: icons!

Chu Icons (because I have the screencaps now.)

Kurama Icons

Hehe. I saw the cross-shaped scar and could not help myself.

Jin icons

A schlele is an Irish style of club. And no, I have no idea how to spell it.

Animated icons!

While true, this one is also not technically a YYH icon. I'm just showing it off because it amuses me.

I am so sorry for the pun. Really, I couldn't help myself!

Credit for the 'weiner thief' comment goes to Bill Engvall. However, the 'nothing there to steal' is all mine.
