Well, I've just recieved all the proof I need to know that I have a very, very hentai mind. I got tinglies from my biology book, for crying out loud! I was peacefully studying for my test ::cough::tomorrow::cough::, when I get to the section on the study guide about the induced-fit model. For those of you who don't know what this is (I'm talking mainly to you, Squeaky Q) the induced-fit model is when an enzyme changes shape to fit a bound substrate, and the resulting tension destabilizes the substrate's bonds. (or, in layman's terms, slot B changes to fit tab A and becomes unstable) Now, this was turned into a "fill in the blank" on our study guide, and the section of the paragraph that perved me looks like this.
According to the induced-fit model, the substrate's bonds are strained to fit the enzyme.
Now, for some reason, I reread this and got mild tinglies. Something in my mind connected the substrate's bonds straining to fit the enzyme with something a bit more perverted. I haven't blinked yet, for fear of the images on my retinas. vV;
At least I'll get that question right if it shows up on the test.
I am officially really really hyper. Last night, I drank two cups of tea (six packets of sugar per) and ate an entire plate of sugary sweets. Today, I woke up and had a vanilla frappuchino, then had another cup of tea (with an equivalent amount of sugar) at a friend's house. I added so much sugar that she was like "Oh Em Gee! No more sugar for Rian-chan!" and snatched it away. Then I had about four chocolate chip cookies at my first church play rehearsal (I'm Jesus! =D)
