Two and a half Hamsters
What a lovely weekend! Deliria_Deadfly and I had so much fun. I think quoting her journal describes it the best, though it probably doesn't make any sense:
Good things about the weekend:
"Picking branches in the garden in the middle of ze night (Well, almost)
Writing “Cinema” (We never got around to “Strange”), in the frost with our footprints
Tee mit hönig, yo!
Corny-bars!! (I swear, they're seriously addictive! o_O)
Being ridiculous until about 4:30 am
S T I C K S! (The best part!)
Watching Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari and drinking weird juice
”Get off the stage, you bum!”
Dancing hamsters! (2½)
"Smidig neeeeger på en a-me-rik-a-nsk motorc-i-kel"! :D"
God, that was hilarious. We found these mechanical hamsters in a toy store that would dance and sing if you pushed their foot. One of them sang Beach Boys, another sang Abba but the best was the one singing "I'm too sexy for my shirt!". We just couldn't stop laughing and the vendor laughed at us and said "Yeah, you're never too old for certain things...".
And somehow the song "Release the Bats" got a whole new meaning...But I'd rather not explain any further, hehe.
Mein liebling helped me scan pictures too! So here are the pictures from the Cinema Strange concert in London, October 2004:
