I hate the end of summer. It's just so depressing. So I'm on my last day now, and I'm too tired to do anything anyway. Well, I suppose I could reminisce about the summer. I miss camp so much. I can't wait until next summer. I'll be an apprentice CIT. Oh, funny thing. Marmot's trying to make it so that CITs can be hired next year, since so many people quit the program so they can get summer jobs. At the same time, the Deer Lake camp director is trying to raise the age requirement to 18 (it's always been 18 or graduated). I'm hoping Marmot wins though. Otherwise I'll be spending an entire summer camp less. boooooo! Anyway, I'm still hoping to see all of my camp buddies soon. I'm also hoping to be able to visit Sugar Pine again. I miss it so much.
On a sadder note, my Aunt Rose died. I would be going up near Sugar Pine this weekend, but I have a feeling the the funeral will be this weekend. She was really cool too. She was the type of Irish grandma who was always teling us about banshees and ghosts and faeries. I was going to visit her this summer, but I guess I missed my chance.
